GHE Lifting is a long-standing SA specialist in fixed lifting systems, servicing and below-the-hook products. This company has grown for decades on reputation (not marketing) — now they’re hiring a Service Business Development Manager to focus full-time on converting a warm client base and expanding into aligned industry accounts.

What You’ll Do
Convert existing customers into multi-year service contracts.
Mine inspection reports for rectification works; quote and close.
Run proactive outreach to aligned accounts; leverage breakdown callouts as door-
openers.
Grow and retain key accounts; protect wins from price-driven competitors.
Collaborate with Service & Project teams to deliver reliably and follow through.
What Success Looks Like
Contracts won (volume & value) and growth of contracted client base.
Conversion of inspection findings into booked works.
Healthy renewal rates and below-the-hook product uplift.
Consistent monthly/quarterly revenue delivery.
Context: This business has added ~50 service contracts without a dedicated seller. The
ambition is ~360 contracts by 2030 — you’ll help build that engine.
You’ll Bring
Technical aptitude (mechanical/industrial/trades exposure ideal).
B2B sales or account management in industrial/manufacturing settings.
Consultative style: diagnose problems, position solutions, win on value (not price).
Drive, ownership and follow-through; you ask great questions and do what you say.
Nice to have: time on the tools (diesel/forklift/electrical/mechanical), cranes/lifting exposure, or a track record growing recurring services.
Package & Progression
Base: $100,000–$120,000 + vehicle/allowance + tools of trade.
OTE: $160,000–$200,000 with tiered bonuses per contract (higher tiers for larger
quarterly contract values + renewals).
Typical cadence: 1–2 contracts/week once ramped = meaningful monthly upside.
Progression: Clear pathway to Project Sales (longer cycle, higher earnings) once
you’ve built momentum in services.
