Account Executive (Inbound Only) – Melbourne (Hybrid) | $90K–$110K Base + $150k - $180k+ OTE
Big brand. Bigger volume. Be the one to close it all.
This one’s a little different.
You won’t be cold calling software companies or grinding through gatekeepers. The inbound volume is already flowing, now we need a dedicated closer to take the founder’s calendar and turn it into revenue.
This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing podcast and content studio business that already has product-market fit, well-known clients, and demand that exceeds capacity.
You’ll be the first sales hire, owning the full sales cycle from discovery to close.
Why This Role?
$90K–$110K base + $150K–$180K OTE
Hybrid setup – 4 days/week in Melbourne studio
Massive inbound volume – 7–8 booked calls per day plus additional leads
High-ticket recurring subscriptions – MRRs from $1.9K to $3.5K+

Founder's trust and autonomy to shape the sales process
What You’ll Actually Do:
Own the full inbound sales cycle across studio memberships and production retainers
Manage a high-velocity pipeline, running 5–10+ discovery and closing calls daily
Follow up like your career depends on it, and get paid because you do
Track every conversation, nurture “not now” leads, and re-engage stale deals
Collaborate with the founder to refine pricing, packaging, and conversion playbooks
Hand off cleanly to delivery with clarity and confidence
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years closing experience in a high-volume inbound or subscription sales environment
Follow-up discipline that never drops a ball, CRM hygiene and cadence mastery
Experience selling services or retainers (creative, media, or production a plus)
Self-sufficient operator – you don’t need hand-holding or a 10-step cadence to move a deal
Melbourne-based and happy to work from the studio 4 days a week
Bonus Points For:
Background in podcasting, content production, or social media agencies
Experience upselling starter packages into premium service tiers
Familiarity with the founder/SMB/creative market in Australia

This role is to be filled by Pointer, it is not for Pointer. The successful candidate will also receive 12 months of ongoing training and support, including advanced training programs and access to communities for professional growth - All of which is provided by Pointer in addition to internal programs.
